Awarded as “Best Project” of 2015 by the archilovers, the
Paterakis Vangelis (photography), Michalis Anestis (styling) requires the usage of older techniques, for another the island is a
redesigning of a cave house (yposkafo) in the hotel 1864 The Sea
Captain’s House was one of the most distinct projects the founders
of Patsios Architecture + Construction have ever undertaken,
because, for one thing, the difficult transportation on Santorini
national tourist destination featuring high design standards. Beside
the cave houses and their unique aesthetic, they were particularly
impressed seeing simple architectural components such as a
yard or some steps reaching the edge of the rock, thus blending
into one the environment and the view. Βραβευμένο ως “Best

υπόσκαφου δωματίου στο ξενοδοχείο 1864 The Sea Captain’s
House αποτέλεσε μια από τις πιο ιδιαίτερες δουλειές που έχουν
αναλάβει οι ιδρυτές του Patsios Architecture + Construction.
Πέρα από τα μοναδικής αισθητικής υπόσκαφα κτίσματα, τους
εντυπωσίασαν περιπτώσεις όπου απλά αντικείμενα, όπως ένας
αυλόγυρος ή μερικά σκαλιά, βρίσκονταν στο όριο με το βράχο,
ομογενοποιώντας το φυσικό περιβάλλον με τη θέα. patsiosac.gr
