Ceramists, owners of 1260° Ceramic Studio
Inspired by the life and the nature of Santorini, the black and the red of the Theraic landscape, the blue of
the Aegean and the orange of the sun, the two ceramists share their love for creation since 2011, when they
opened their studio. Although they can’t obtain Theraic clay, because the deposits are covered by the ashes of
the 1613 BC eruption, they can find the necessary materials for their colours and glazes, such as alkaline earths
and silicon, in the stones, the sand and the soil of the rocks. Εμπνευσμένοι από τη φύση της Σαντορίνης,
το μαύρο και το κόκκινο χρώμα της θηραϊκής γης, το γαλάζιο του Αιγαίου και το πορτοκαλί του ήλιου,
οι δύο κεραμίστες μοιράζονται από το 2011, οπότε και άνοιξαν το εργαστήριό τους, την αγάπη τους για
